The Simple Pleasures Candle Co. was created out of a moment of stillness during one of the most challenging seasons the world had ever faced. In 2020, founder Tasheena Salmon, discovered the healing power of candle making what started as personal self-care quickly transformed into a deeper passion for creating peace through scent.

Born in and raised Kingston, Jamaica, before migrating to New York City, Tasheena’s life has always been guided by purpose. With a Master’s in Social Work from NYU and years of experience supporting individuals through healing and growth, she understands the importance of creating spaces that nurture the soul.

The Simple Pleasures Candle Co. embodies that mission. Each candle is hand-poured with intention, crafted from clean ingredients, and infused with love, spiritual grounding, and positive energy.
